LYME CENTER, NH — Alice Clark Small, 83, passed away Sunday April 28th following a period of declining health. She was born August 29th, 1935 to the late Charles Clark and Ruth Bean Elder. She grew up in Lyme Center and attended school there. She was a graduate of Orford High School class of 1953. Alice was married to Duane Small on November 1st, 1958. She belonged to the Grafton County Mountaineers Chapter of the Good Sam Club. She was a member of the Lyme Pinnacle Snowmobile Club, The Lyme Center Ladies Aid Society. She held various offices in these organizations for many years. She was a good friend of the Lyme Center Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Duane Small, their three sons Jeffrey, Eugene and Wesley, her siblings Helen Richardson (Clayton), Don Elder (Julia), Philip Elder, Vera Carter (Carl), Wilbur Clark (Joan), Nancy Jackson (Leon). And many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to Alice’s graveside service on Saturday May 4th at 10 AM at the Highland Cemetery in Lyme NH with the Reverend. Lloyd Wiley officiating.
