Manchester
Alfred Montoya Jr., who previously served as director at the White River Junction VA Medical Center, was assigned to Manchester in July amid complaints by whistleblowers about patient care and sanitation at the New Hampshire facility.
“My work has been to bring people together to realize all that is possible for veterans,” Montoya said in a VA news release. “I am excited to continue this work, deepen relationships, and enhance collaboration across medical centers in Vermont and New Hampshire. In the last eight months, and with the dedicated staff at Manchester VA, we have made unprecedented change together, and I am humbled and honored to be appointed to be a permanent part of the team.”
Matthew Mulcahy is serving as acting director at the White River Junction VA Medical Center.
