North Sutton, N.H. —
She was born in Chicago, Ill. on May 23, 1948, the daughter of Louis and Josephine (Zemincius) Hayes.
Sue graduated from Maria High School in Chicago in 1966, Chicago State College in 1970 and earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Plymouth State University in 2000.
She moved to Maynard, Mass. in 1976 from Chicago and then to North Sutton in 1989. Sue was the Title I Reading Supervisor at McDonough Elementary School in Manchester and had taught at Towle Elementary School in Newport and at Kearsarge Regional Elementary School in New London.
She was a communicant at Our Lady of Fatima Church in New London. She enjoyed reading and hummingbirds. Sue liked to watch baseball, enjoyed traveling and was a member of the school bowling league.
Her husband of 38 years, Kenneth A. Uzdanovich, passed away in 2014. She is also predeceased by a sister, Barbara Milutinovic. She is survived by two sons, Christopher Uzdanovich of Concord, N.H. and Jason Uzdanovich of Littleton, N.H.; two stepsons and their wives, Steven and Kathleen Uzdanovich and their children, Mila and Luka of Hudson, N.H. and Mark and Paula Uzdanovich and their children, Morgan and Colbie of Nashua, N.H.; a brother, Louis Hayes of Chicago; nieces, nephews and cousins including Sandy Vanderway of whom she was especially fond.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 724 Main Street, New London, N.H.
