Alexandria, N.H. —
Beverly married Kenneth Hall, Nov. 18, 1966. They lived in Dorchester and later Lebanon, before retiring to Ken’s home town of Alexandria. Beverly worked as a LNA for a time and later as an assembler at Timken Aerospace in Lebanon.
Beverly loved riding on the motorcycle with Ken and seeing the countryside. Family was everything to Beverly and as her children grew and the grandchildren (and great grandchildren) came, she enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them. She had an avid interest in the outdoors to include gardening, walking, fishing and occasionally went hunting. She also enjoyed quilting, baking and volunteering at the after school program at the Alexandria Village School.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth Hall Jr. of Alexandria; a son Kenneth Hall III of Virginia; daughter, Michelle Carman and her husband Scott of Canaan N.H.; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; five brothers: Edward and Chester Downing of Thornton; John Downing of Campton; Raymond Downing of San Antonio, Texas; Guy Downing of Dover Foxcroft, Maine; a sister Lorita Goodwin of Plymouth; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Gene Downing and a sister Muriel Prescott.
Services-Interment will be at the N.H. Veterans Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Alexandria United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Newfound Area Nursing Association, 214 Lake St., Bristol, NH 03222.
