North Haverhill — A 23-year-old Enfield woman has been indicted on a felony charge of false reporting of accidents in connection with a single-vehicle crash in Hanover in December that killed a 25-year-old Canaan man.

Jennifer Gavell allegedly told police she had been driving the vehicle on Dec. 3 when it rolled over on Wolfeboro Road, according to the indictment paperwork, which was released Thursday. Prosecutors allege 21-year-old Canaan resident Zachery Warner, who was dating Gavell, was driving. He faces a slew of felony charges. The crash killed passenger Kyle Boisvert and seriously injured Hannah Linowski.

An indictment is not a finding of guilt, but rather a determination by a grand jury that there is sufficient evidence for a prosecutor to proceed with a criminal case. Gavell is scheduled to be arraigned in Grafton Superior Court in North Haverhill on May 8.
