Lebanon — A Canaan man facing charges in a fatal Hanover crash has been released from the hospital.

Zachery Warner, 21, has been cited into court on charges of negligent homicide and aggravated driving while intoxicated following the deadly single-car wreck over the weekend in Hanover.

Warner was hospitalized after the pickup truck he was driving rolled over on Friday night on Wolfeboro Road, according to authorities. One of the passengers, Kyle Boisvert, 25, of Canaan, was killed in the crash.

A Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center spokesperson said on Monday that Warner had been discharged.

Hanover Police Chief Charlie Dennis said Warner was formally arrested at the hospital on Saturday, and had $25,000 personal recognizance bail set. Police said the crash was likely the result of drunken driving and that speed likely played a role. Warner will remain free on bail until a judge assesses his case during an arraignment in Lebanon District Court on Jan. 23.

A DHMC spokesman said the medical center was not authorized to release an updated condition report for another passenger, 26-year-old Pennsylvania resident Hannah Linowski, who suffered serious injuries, according to police. A third passenger, 23-year-old Lebanon resident Jennifer Gavell, was released from the hospital shortly after the incident.

According to Warner’s Facebook page, he played football at Mascoma Regional High School and graduated from there in 2013. He is in a relationship with Gavell, his page indicates. Boisvert also graduated from Mascoma, according to his own Facebook page. Boisvert was musically inclined and classified himself as an acoustic rocker, according to the Valley News archive.

The singer/songwriter played at Salt hill Pubs in Hanover, Lebanon, Newport and Newbury, N.H. He also performed at the Windsor Station, and sometimes performed alongside Elijah Rock, according to the archive.

Attempts to reach Boisvert’s family members were unsuccessful. A message left for Zach Warner wasn’t returned.
