London — Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic set up a Sunday shootout for both the ATP finals title and the year-end No. 1 ranking.

The world’s top two players had contrasting wins in the semifinals at O2 Arena on Saturday, with Murray surviving a match point to beat Milos Raonic, 5-7, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (9), in 3 hours, 38 minutes, the longest-ever three-setter in the ATP finals. Djokovic needed just 66 minutes to dispatch Kei Nishikori, 6-1, 6-1.

Hughes Retains Lead

St. Simons Island, Ga. — Mackenzie Hughes atoned for a triple bogey that cost him the lead by making a tough par save and three birdies Saturday for a 2-under 68, giving the Canadian rookie a one-shot advantage going into the final round of the RSM Classic.

Next up at Sea Island is 18 holes in the final group with Billy Horschel and Camilo Villegas.

Horschel, who hasn’t won since the Tour Championship two years ago when he captured the FedEx Cup, holed a 10-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole of the Seaside course at Sea Island for a 65.

SkiingColorado Races Moved

Oberhofen, Switzerland — The International Ski Federation has rescheduled the men’s World Cup super-G, downhill and giant slalom, which were canceled in Beaver Creek, Colo., because of unseasonably warm weather. The races will now take place Dec. 2-4 in Val d’Isere, France, the federation said on Saturday.

For the first time since 2007, the men will race speed events on the O.K. course in Val d’Isere.

The men will remain in Val d’Isere for previously scheduled giant slalom and slalom races Dec. 10-11.

A lack of snow also forced the cancellation of the men’s World Cup speed races Nov. 26-27 in Lake Louise, Alberta. No makeup dates for those races have been announced yet.
