Hanover — The Dartmouth College women’s lacrosse team defeated Columbia, 13-11, Saturday in its season finale at Scully-Fahey Field.

Entering Saturday’s action, the Big Green (7-8, 3-4 Ivy) still had hopes of a berth in the Ivy League Tournament, but were dashed by Harvard’s 13-4 win over Yale.

Columbia is 6-9, 1-6.

In her final game with the Green and White, senior Jaclyn Leto scored four times and added an assist. She reached the 50-goal mark with her first tally, and her third of the afternoon made her the fourth player in program history to score 150 in her career.

Leto’s career points (175) rank fifth all-time, while her goal toal (151) is tied with 1981 graduate Karen McKeel for third in program history. Her 131 draw controls in four seasons place her third on the all-time list.

In 2016, Leto’s 53 goals are tied for the sixth most ever in a single-season by a Big Green playing, tying Lauren Holleran, who finished with that figure in both 1993 and 1995.

Fellow co-captain Campbell Probert scored three times and assisted on another after coming into the game with just three goals all season.

Also playing in their final game were seniors Ingrid Hermanson and Danielle Lisovicz, who both battled injuries throughout the spring, but made several key plays on Saturday to preserve the win.

Freshman Elizabeth Mastrio and junior Taryn Deck added a pair of goals each, with Courtney Weisse adding one.

Freshman Charlotte Wahle stopped six shots to earn her seventh victory of the season.
