Newport, N.H. —
Bill attended school and Whittier Tech for automotive, in Haverhill, Mass. He spent many years working auto parts sales and service. Bill loved auto restoration and modifications, meticulously building both racing and street cars. He was a member of Carnutz club, and many online forums. Bill is remembered for his sense of humor, love of the ocean and always being a genuine friend.
Bill is survived by his wife of 17 years, Ann; sons, Christopher and Michael Wentworth; father, Cliff; and two sisters, Debbie Noel and Jodi LaCasse. He leaves a grandson, Ryan Wentworth; step-children, Andrea, Matthew, and Gregory Pickering and Carissa Brophy; step-grandchildren, Perley, Natasha, Clayton, Carissa, Deklan, Chloe, Jacoby and Cadence. He had many close cousins and nieces, Dawn and Alexandrine, nephews Mark, David and Andre. Bill’s other passion was music and the Wentworth’s were close to many area music enthusiasts they considered extended family.
A celebration of life will be held in Newport on May 20, details to be announced.
