Ann Stephens, of West Fairlee, Vt., and Tom Harty, of Randolph, Vt., have a conversation in front of the Bradford, Vt., town offices on Tuesday, Dec.7, 2021, which began with dogs and ended with them exchanging contact information. Harty is the managing director of Hale Funeral Home in Bradford and Stephens is a violin and viola player. Harty is sometimes in need of musicians for services.
