Warner Robins, Ga. —
Beverly was born in Lebanon, N.H. the daughter of the late Geneva May and Rolfe Richard Goodhue, Sr. Beverly was a registered nurse at several locations throughout her lifetime, but finally retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base in April of 1998. She had many talents including knitting, ceramics, and crocheting. Beverly had a generous spirit and provided crocheted blankets and hats to preemie babies, cancer patients, and veterans in the VA Hospital. She also loved time spent with her many friends in her Crochet Club and at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was a devout member.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her loving husband of 59 years, Allen Jerry Talley of Warner Robins; children, David Talley (Beth) of Pendleton, S.C., Donald Talley (Kathy) of Augusta, Ga., Denise Rogers (Ronald) of Kathleen, Deborah T. Lewis (Brad) of McDonough, Ga., and Dianne T. Milam (Johnny) of Milledgeville, Ga.; 16 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two great-grandsons; brother, Rolfe Richard Goodhue, Jr. (Gerry) of Lebanon, N.H.; and a host of extended family and friends.
There will be a Rosary on Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 6 p.m. with visitation following until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Fred Nijem and Deacon Jim Hunt officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Beverly to the Sacred Heart Catholic School Building Fund, 250 S. Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
