White River Junction — Following a 10-day trial, Emily Perkins has been found guilty of voluntary manslaughter and second-degree attempted murder for a 2011 shooting that killed a Bethel drug dealer and left a bullet lodged in a young woman’s head.

The jury delivered the verdict shortly before 9:30 p.m. tonight following a 10-day trial. They began deliberating after 11 a.m. this morning.

Perkins was taken away to jail after the verdict was read.
