Animal cruelty with donkey basketball
Imagine you are a gentle animal being pushed, pulled and slapped to force you to enter a gym with screaming onlookers. Imagine you are forced to carry someone who is too heavy for you to carry but you are kicked to run down the court.
Riders are typically not experienced and don’t see these are the gentle beings as they are but kick and scream at them to run down the court for money and entertainment. These donkeys are unwilling “basketball players” and we are doing a disservice to our youth by allowing them to think this is okay.
Instead of showing compassion and caring for animals that are petrified and have no escape the crowd typically finds them bucking and acting erratically funny and entertaining. IT IS NOT.
