HANOVER โ A 24-year-old man from Vermont was found dead in his vehicle in the parking lot of Wilsonโs Landing on Tuesday.

Vermont State Police contacted the Hanover Police Department at roughly 3 p.m. on Tuesday regarding a missing person in the area.
During the search, police observed the personโs Subaru Legacy at Wilsonโs Landing, a boat ramp and popular summertime swimming spot off of Lyme Road in Hanover, a police news release stated.
Authorities found the missing person dead inside the vehicle. The body was soon transferred to the New Hampshire Chief Medical Examiner in Concord for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Currently no foul play is suspected, the release stated.
Authorities also found some chemicals inside the vehicle, which was deemed safe by members of the Hanover Fire Department and Midwestern Hazardous Materials Response Team, the release said.
The vehicle is being held at the Hanover Police station on Lyme Road.
Wilsonโs Landing is now open to the public following authoritiesโ removal of the vehicle from the site.
The family of the deceased has been notified of the personโs death.
The State Fire Marshalโs Office is assisting in the investigation.
