CONCORD — The New Hampshire Beekeepers Association is collecting data on how many beehives survived last winter in its annual survey. Five years of previous surveys show New Hampshire’s winter hive loss above the national average.

The survey data will help researchers understand why, and also how beekeepers may be able to help more hives make it through winter. Any beekeeper in the state is invited to participate. NHBA will give away a 1-year membership to one participant. The brief survey is available until April 30 at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NH2022HiveSurvey.
