Hanover — A Canaan man was killed Friday night in a car crash that police said likely was the result of drunken driving.

Twenty-five-year-old Kyle Boisvert, of Canaan, was pronounced dead late Friday at the scene of a single-vehicle rollover in Hanover.

A news release from the Hanover Police Department said the driver of the vehicle, 21-year-old Zachery Warner, of Canaan, has been charged with negligent homicide and aggravated driving while under the influence. Police said he was driving three others in a 2002 GMC pickup truck on Wolfeboro Road at about 11 p.m. when the crash occurred and that speed and alcohol likely were factors. Warner, who was injured in the crash, is scheduled to be arraigned in Lebanon Circuit Court on Jan. 23.

The other two occupants of the pickup were taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Police said Hannah Linowski, 26, of Erdenheim, Pa., sustained serious injuries. Front-seat passenger Jennifer Gavell was released after a brief medical evaluation. Police did not provide Gavell’s age or hometown.

The Hanover fire and police departments responded to the scene. They were assisted by units from Canaan, Enfield and Lyme.
