He was born on Feb. 13, 1989, the son of Tina Laber and Carl Berry. Nick was a son, a brother, a father, a husband and a friend; he is deeply loved and cherished and will be missed by all. On March 19, 2008, his pride and joy was born. Together Nick and Shaunna Hafford named him Cylan Berry.
He loved fishing, working on cars and building things. He loved spending time with his wife, son and family, and was a very kind, giving person. He would help anyone he could in need.
Nick spent most of his teenage years working various jobs and establishing his life.
In 2008 when Nick and his wife Megan first met, Megan came up to Vermont on vacation from Florida and decided to never go back. Since the day they met they were always together building their own life together. Nick and Megan were together for seven and a half years and were married on May 8, 2016, and both agreed it was the best day of their lives.
Nick is survived by his wife, Megan Berry; his son, Cylan Berry; his mother, Tina Race and her husband, Willy; his father, Carl Berry and his wife, Joyce Berry; his brothers and sisters, Matt Berry, Melissa Berry, Carl Berry, Todd Berry, Theresa Berry and Nathan Russell; step-brothers and sisters, Dan Race, Sharon Race and Jessica Race; and many more aunts, uncles and friends and family members.
A celebration of Nick’s life will be held on May 21, 2016, at 12 noon at the Old City Falls in Strafford, Vt.
