Elect Kirk White to the Vermont House
I wholeheartedly support Kirk White in his reelection to the Vermont House representing Bethel, Stockbridge, Rochester, and Hancock. I see Kirk quite often here in Bethel where he was born and raised, and whether it’s a community supper or a legislative breakfast, Kirk’s presence is always one of openness and a generosity of spirit that can be contagious.
Kirk fully grasps the critical concerns of everyday Vermonters living in small towns like ours. Even before his work in the Statehouse, Kirk was busy in Bethel helping create the Bethel Revitalization Initiative and Bethel University. He is always looking for creative solutions to the thorny issues of today — no matter what side of the aisle they come from.
We all know what those issues are: affordable housing, healthcare, and childcare; affordable quality education and preservation of our small schools; workforce and economic development to fill a shortage of workers statewide.
These problems and many others that we face are complex and challenging. They’re not going to be solved with mere soundbites or political posturing. That’s why I want to see more Kirk Whites in our citizen legislature, the kind of folks who are ready and willing to roll up their sleeves and work to do what’s best for our towns and state.
