Enfield, NH – Ronald Lionel Boutin, Sr, 83, passed away at his home in Enfield, NH with his family at his side on Monday, August 10th, 2026. Born July 6, 1943, in Lebanon, NH to Lionel O. Boutin and Irene Gray Boutin, he was an only child. He grew up in Lebanon, NH and graduated from Lebanon High School Class of 1961. He married Linda Fontain right out of high school, then later married Nancy Robinson and on November 23, 1974, he married the love of this life and spent 47 wonderful years with her. They lived in Lebanon, NH for over 30 years and then moved to a beautiful home in Vonore, Tenn. They spent their time between their home in Tenn and their daughter’s home in Enfield, NH for over 17 years before returning to Enfield, NH to live the rest of their lives with family and friends.
Ronald worked for P & C Foods for 30 years and then went to work for about 8 years at Thermal Dynamics when P & C Foods closed their doors. Once retired Ronald worked the busy seasons for Wilson Tire for over 18 years. Working for Wison Tire was such an amazing job for Ron because he got to talk with several different people every day while driving the shuttle. Telling his stories and hearing their special stories always made him so happy. Ron had the biggest heart and cared for every person he ever encountered. He always went the extra mile to make sure people were cared for and felt comfortable in life. A lot of people knew him as Revelli Ron from the Mascoma Club. He always had a good joke to tell because his favorite thing to do was to make people laugh. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his brother in law, Mike Murphy of New Haven, VT; and one sister in law, Cindy Dearth and her partner Debra Weingard of Leesburg, FL; four children, Heidi Jo Meeker and her husband Steve of White River Jct., VT; Ronald Boutin, Jr. and his wife Linda of East Longmeadow, MA; Kevin Boutin and his wife Kristen of East Longmeadow, MA; and Karen Fortin and her husband Daniel of Swanton, VT; as well as three step children, Donna Mason and her significant other Pete Bellimer of Enfield, NH: Scott Demers and his wife Lisa of Charlestown, NH and Shawn Demers and his wife Tiffany of New Orleans, LA: His dog Rusty, 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife Barbara Boutin, Mother Irene Gray Boutin LaFlamme, Father Lionel Boutin, Dad (stepfather) Adelard LaFlamme, stepsister Dianne Moyer, granddaughter Barbara Jean Nadeau, sister-in-law Lorraine Murphy, father-in-law Eddie Murphy and Mother-in-law Leona Murphy. Also, his 2 dearest friends Robert (Bob) Lawson and Mr. Carl Morrison.
Family and friends are invited to Ronald’s calling hours on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 10 AM to noon at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon. At Noon his funeral will begin at the funeral home with his committal prayers to follow in the Valley Cemetery in Lebanon. Fr. James Cuddy O.P. will be officiating.
