Randolph, VT – Randolph, VT– Carole Helene Fontaine, age 90 formerly of Canaan, NH passed away, July 7, 2026, at the Menig Extended Care in Randolph, VT. She had resided at Menig for two and a half years. Carole was born in Boston, MA on May 18, 1936 to the late Cornelius & Marjorie (Forbes) Poirier. She grew up in Boston and worked as a bookkeeper in some businesses. She married Theodore R.G. Fontaine Sr. on July 7, 1977 in Medford MA. They later made their home in Canaan. She attended the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canaan. She is survived by six stepchildren, Mary Trask, Valorie Fontaine, Theodore Fontaine Jr., Robert Fontaine, and Lee Ann Fontaine. Family and friends are invited to Carole's graveside service on Saturday July 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Canaan Street Cemetery, Canaan NH.
