2026 “Byrne Cup” Twin State All-Star Lacrosse

On Saturday, June 20, the Hanover Lions “Byrne Cup” Twin State All-Star Lacrosse Games were held at Hanover High School — it was the 33rd year for the boys’ game, and the 30th for the girls. These friendly rivalry games serve as a way to honor the outstanding just-graduated high school senior lacrosse players from Vermont and New Hampshire, and, at the same time, as an important charity fundraising event for the Hanover Lions Charitable Foundation, helping to replenish the funds necessary to support the charitable and community efforts the Lions are involved with.

The Hanover Lions wish to thank all the generous sponsor/advertisers who supported the event, all the volunteer help, vendors and game officials involved, SAU 70 and Hanover HS for the use of their playing fields, parents, family and friends of the players who supported the event as spectators, the coaches who helped put together the teams and were on the field on game day, and, all the players who showed up to represent their state in this legacy event, without all of whom, the event would not have been possible.
