Sunapee, NH – Michael Allen Huff passed away, June 3, 20236, in his home in Sunapee, NH at the age of 75. Mike was a long time resident of Sunapee.
He was born on April 10, 1951 to Alfred Huff and Lottie Huff. He was the youngest of three children. His older brother being Theodore Huff and older sister Sally (Huff) Wilson.
Mike graduated Sunapee High School in 1969. After high school he spent time in Fort Myers, Florida where his sister lives. There he was a Sheriff working with his brother-in-law David Wilson. Mike moved back to Sunapee where he took up the trade of Carpentry. He became a very skilled Carpenter, building and remodeling many homes in the Sunapee and New London area, including his mother Lottie’s house as well as his own.
Mike married his life-long sweetheart Brenda (Roach) Huff and they had two children, Shane and Kali.
Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, boiling maple syrup, old Westerns and Corvettes.
Mike was predeceased by his beloved wife Brenda Huff; his parents Alfred and Lottie; his brother Theodore Huff; and his niece Penny Wilson. He is survived by his son Shane Huff and his wife Missy Huff, grandchildren Harper and Sawyer, all of Eldridge, Iowa; his daughter Kali (Huff) Hooper and her husband Kirt Hooper, and grandchildren Jack and Gage, all of Gilford, NH; his sister Sally (Huff) Wilson and her husband David of Fort Myers, Florida; his nephew Zachary Wilson and his wife Maricella of Fort Myers, Florida; his niece Heidi (Wilson) Baer and her husband Marty of Fort Myers, Florida; his nephew Darren Huff and his wife Heather of Wilmot, NH; along with their respective children, as well as many extended family members and close friends.
A celebration of life barbeque will be held at Mike’s house on Route 11 in Sunapee on Saturday, June 27th from 11 AM – 2 PM. All are welcome to come share memories, laughter, a beer, and a bite to eat in Mike’s name. Come as you are, no fancy dress.
