Canaan, NH – Jeannette A. Argent, 61, died Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Lebanon. She was born on October 2, 1964 to Walter and Sylvia (Thibodeau) Seace in Lebanon, NH. She was pre deceased by her father at an early age, and also pre deceased by her step father, Robert Brown who helped raise her. Jeannette attended Mascoma High School. She was a 20 plus year employee of the COOP Food Store where she made many friends and often worked alongside family members. Her greatest joy was her family, raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a passion for all things fantasy, especially unicorns, which she collected in various forms over the years. Jeannette enjoyed reading, with special interest in writers such as JRR Tolkien and Stephen King. Throughout her life she learned many skills, from bowling to line dancing. Jeannette was known for her kind heart and giving nature.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Argent, daughter Samantha Fredette (Argent) and her husband Matthew, son Cory Argent and his wife Becca. Four grandchildren April, Mason, Chloe and Jackson, former husband Rick Argent, four siblings Linda Brown, Walter Seace, Sophie Seace and Patty Neily.
Family and friends are invited to Jeannette's memorial calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Thursday June 18th from 5 to 7 PM. There will be an opportunity to share memories at 7.
