NEWBURY, Vt. — A missing Newbury teenager was found safely Monday, according to a news release from Vermont State Police
Alek Deng, 18, was located in the Burlington area Monday, police reported just before 3 p.m..
Police sought public assistance Monday in locating Deng, who was last seen at about 11:30 a.m. Sunday at a residence on Rocky Lane in Newbury, according to a Monday morning news release.
Deng was reported missing Sunday at about 11:15 p.m. and there were “concerns for their well being.”
