Hartland, VT – Sandra Elaine Barrows Riviezzo, 80, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026.
Born on February 4, 1945, Sandra spent most of her life in Hartland, Vermont, where she built both her home and her career as a dedicated hairdresser. She took great pride in her work and the relationships she formed over the years. Sandra had a deep love for gardening and found joy in nurturing both her plants and her family, who were always her highest priority.
Sandra shared 49 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Ferro Riviezzo Jr, a testament to her commitment to love and family. She was also deeply devoted to her faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, which was an important and guiding part of her life.
Known affectionately as Sandy, she will be remembered for her warmth, care for others, and the love she gave so freely to those around her.
She is survived by her two sons, Ferro Riviezzo III and Anthony Riviezzo; her three grandchildren, Ella Riviezzo, Larissa Riviezzo, and Brendan Riviezzo; two great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Shirley Lyons (Bill), Donna Cote (George), Pattie Patterson (Fred), Nancy Leaneau (Wayne) and Debra Roberts: and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Morgan Riviezzo, and her husband, Ferro Riviezzo Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 57 Daisy Hill Rd, Lebanon, NH. A Zoom option will also be available for those unable to attend in person. A gathering will follow at her home in Hartland, Vermont.
