Grafton, NH – Dorothy (Meade) Campbell, 84, formerly of Grafton, died on May 7, 2026 at Valley Terrace in White River Junction, VT.
She was born in Boston, MA on November 17, 1941 the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Cronin) Meade.
Dottie taught school in MA for many years and moved to Grafton, NH in 1987. She had been a teacher and principal at Indian River. Dottie was a communicant of St. Mary’s Parish in Canaan, NH. She had served her community as selectman and treasurer for the Town of Grafton.
Her husband, Allan C. Campbell, died in 2016. She is also predeceased by two sisters, Chic Sullivan and Betty Barcus. Dottie is survived by a sister, Mary Patricia Meade and her husband, Dan White of Lubbock, TX; nieces and nephews including Liz Sutton; grandnieces and grandnephews including Clifton Garrison.
Friends may call at St. Mary’s Church, US Route 4, Canaan, NH on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 9:00 A.M. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 A.M. and burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Grafton, NH.
