Lebanon, NH – Jennie M. Mikowski, a new angel passed peacefully on April 22, 2026 after a period of declining health.
Born August 9, 1937 to Cecil Britch and Hattie (Currier) Britch in Highgate, Vermont. She attended various schools having moved around a lot and ended at Enfield High School and later got her GED.
She married her husband of 59 years Francis Mikowski on March 13, 1954. They settled in Lebanon and raised 4 daughters.
Over the years she worked at Carter & Churchill, Rockdale, Woolworths, Giant Store, Kings Department Store, Berwick Trucking, Dartmouth Printing and Luminescent Systems.
She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend. Always put family above all and was a support system for all with no questions asked. Family gatherings were very special to her. She could visit and keep in touch with everyone.
She is survived by her daughters Ellen Truman (Tom), Lynn Neily (Mike), Lori Dupuis, Cheryl Jette (Kevin), 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.
Jennie was pre deceased by her parents Cecil and Hattie Britch, Brother William Britch, Sisters Cleona Smith and Gwendolyn Laxague. Husband Francis Mikowski, grandsons Matthew Neily and Gregory Jette, son in law Robert Dupuis.
A sincere thank you to Dr. Brian Lombardo for 30 years of wonderful care. He referred to her as “the energizer bunny”. Vermont Nurse and Hospice for their great care over the last several weeks and Jack Byrne Center for the comfort they gave in her last couple of days.
Family and friends are invited to Jennie’s calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Tuesday April 28, 2026 from 11 AM to 1 PM.
