Hanover, NH – Beverly J. Balch, 92, of Hanover, NH, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026 at Hanover Terrace.
Born April 3, 1934, in Lyme, NH to Chester & Marion Jenks. She graduated Hanover High School in 1952, and then married Harvey Balch on April 3, 1954. She went to work at Dartmouth College, in Baker Library and then to Dartmouth Printing for the rest of her career. After retirement, she enjoyed travel with friends and family, gardening, knitting, reading, and quilting.
She is survived by her children, Bernie Balch (Anna), Jeffrey Balch (Beverly), Rebecca Balch Clogston (Larry), Johnny Balch (Brooke), and her brother Roger Jenks. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brandi, Mikayla, Betsy, Lincoln, Vincent, and great grandchildren, Garin and Zeppelin.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Harvey, her grandson Kevin Graf Jr., daughter in-law Beverly B Balch, brothers Edward Jenks, Richard Jenks, and Stanley Jenks.
The family and friends of Beverly would like to send a very special thank you to all the people at Hanover Terrace that provided special care for her.
The family is planning a graveside service on April 25, 2026 at 11:00 at the Highland Cemetery in Lyme, NH.
