War with Iran is wrong

As Quakers believe there is that of God in everyone.

What kind of world are we saying yes to if we don’t express our outrage at this illegal and immoral war with Iran? We are saying it is OK to disrespect our constitution and the liberty for which it stands. We are saying it is OK that civilian populations are now legitimate military targets. We are saying it is OK to risk the lives and well-being of our military for unclear objectives.

This war is not helping the American people. This war is not making the world a safer place. Where is the funding for this war coming from? What programs have been cut to makes this war possible? War is not the answer; diplomacy, decency and democracy are. A government of the people, for the people, and by the people.
