Lebanon, NH – LouAnn Garrand Russ, born July 6, 1958 (age 67) of Lebanon, NH passed on April 10, 2026 at the Jack Byrne Hospice and Palliative Care Center. An alumni of Windsor High School, class of '76 and Champlain College class of '78, she made her living as a bookkeeper to support her passions. A true daughter of New England, over the years she felt the pull of sea waves of Maine and enjoyed the flames of many campfires in the mountains while camping with her beloved husband. While raising her children she could be found with many friends and family practicing their archery most weekends. Many loved ones have been blessed by her incredible talent as a craftswoman hobbyist. She was an avid reader who devoured novels and a lover of comedy who was quick to laugh.
She is predeceased by her father Larry Garrand of Brownsville, VT. She is survived by her husband John Russ of Lebanon, NH, daughters Cassandra Weber of Ruckersville, VA and Katelyn Russ of Lebanon, NH, granddaughters Ashley, Isabelle, Alexis, Aleah, and Dagny, mother Margaret Garrand of Windsor, VT, and three younger brothers, Craig Garrand of Burlington, VT, Lee Garrand of Queensbury, NY and Mark Garrand of Sharon, VT.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor on Saturday July 4, 2026 at the residence of John Russ, 190 Bank Street Extension, Lebanon, NH.
