WEST LEBANON โ€” Lebanon Police recently arrested several men accused of retail theft in the span of roughly one week. 

From March 31 to April 7, Lebanon Police arrested six people on charges including felony retail theft, falsifying evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia in connection with incidents that occurred at stores in the South Main Street and Plainfield Road areas of West Lebanon, police stated in an April 8 news release. 

A voicemail left for Lebanon Police Chief Phillip Roberts on Friday was not immediately returned. 

On March 31, officers arrested a 35-year-old Claremont man who police said was observed removing security tags from merchandise at Target. After he was taken into custody, police found he was in possession of concealed items. 

Police arrested a 33-year-old White River Junction man following a theft at Walmart on April 4. Police stated that he was also observed removing security tags from merchandise and following his arrest, police found him to be in possession of โ€œstolen items.โ€ Due to prior theft convictions, he is facing a charge of felony theft, according to police.ย 

That same day, officers arrested another 33-year-old Upper Valley man, of Chelsea, for an alleged theft at Dollar Tree. He is facing a charge of felony theft due to prior theft convictions and was also โ€œfound to have an active warrant and drug paraphernalia in his possession,โ€ according to police.ย ย 

In connection with the same incident at Dollar Tree, police arrested a 37-year-old man with no current address, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and falsifying physical evidence. 

Three days later, on April 7, officers arrested a 41-year-old man with no current address in connection with two felony thefts from Best Buy which occurred on March 12 and April 4. Police said that the individual โ€œadmitted to the thefts and was found to have committed the offenses while subject to bail conditions.โ€ The man faces two felony theft charges along with charges of disorderly conduct and breach of bail, police said.

Police made another arrest on April 7. Following a theft at Kohlโ€™s, police found a 47-year-old St. Johnsbury, Vt., resident to be in possession of stolen merchandise. Due to prior convictions, he is facing a charge of felony theft. ย ย
