LEBANON โ The Police Department will host a community forum about fraud next Tuesday.
Officer Jonathan Bruynell will lead the event titled โFraud in the Modern Age” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Lebanon Police Department, located at 36 Poverty Lane. The event is free and open to members of the public, who are asked to RSVP via lebanonnh.gov/m/newsflash/home/detail/6068.
“Fraud continues to evolve across industries, affecting all individuals,” according to a news release from the Lebanon Police Department. “Today, digital platforms have created new vulnerabilities, with schemes ranging from phishing and identity theft to complex corporate fraud.”
During his presentation, Bruynell will discuss current fraud trends and how to detect and prevent fraud. He will also share steps people can take to protect their personal and financial information.
