HAVERHILL โ€” Voters passed everything up for consideration at the annual school district meeting Tuesday night.

The $18.28 million operating budget passed by secret ballot vote, 106-84. Of Haverhill’s 2,886 registered voters, 190, or about 6.6%, attended the meeting.

Voters also opted to adopt an open enrollment provision to allow students residing outside of Haverhill to attend Haverhill Cooperative Middle School, Woodsville Elementary School and Woodsville High School. No more than one student per grade will be allowed. No Haverhill residents will be allowed to attend other open enrollment schools outside the district.

Voters also approved establishing a Professional Development Expendable Trust Fund for professional development and allocating $35,000 in unassigned funds available on June 30 to that fund.
