LEBANON โ€” Dartmouth Health has named a new chief financial officer for Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics.

Tamara Rockwell has worked at Dartmouth Health since 2005 and most recently served as vice president of financial planning and analysis at DHMC and Clinics, according to a news release. She stepped into the CFO role on March 1.

โ€œShe has worked closely with departments across the organization to develop financial strategies, evaluate new programs and services, and support data-driven decision-making,” Dartmouth Health CFO Wendy Fielding said in a statement. “Her deep understanding of our organization and commitment to collaboration have helped teams across DHMC advance their goals while maintaining strong financial stewardship.โ€

Rockwell is replacing Fielding who was appointed CFO of Dartmouth Health in January.

In the fiscal year ending in June 2024, Fielding earned $491,000 as DHMC CFO, according to financial statements.

Rockwell will oversee finances for DHMC, the system’s flagship academic medical center in Lebanon, and its 14 clinics and outpatient sites around New Hampshire.

DHMC and its subsidiaries saw $3.35 billion in operating revenues and $3.26 billion in expenses for the fiscal year ending in June 2025, according to the DH annual financial report.

In 2024, DHMC and subsidiaries brought in $2.90 billion in operating revenues and $2.84 billion in operating expenses.

Rockwell has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt., and a master’s degree in health care delivery science from Dartmouth College.
