TUNBRIDGE — From the floor at Tuesday’s Town Meeting, voters elected Mike McPhetres to a three-year Selectboard term.
Voters also opted to give the Tunbridge Volunteer Fire Department, the Tunbridge Historical Society and the Tunbridge Grange a 100% property tax exemption for a five-year period.
Voters approved the proposed general fund budget of $925,000, of which $511,000 will come from taxes.
They also approved the proposed highway fund budget of $1.3 million, of which $1.1 million will come from taxes.
The town approved an appropriation of $66,000 to support the Tunbridge Volunteer Fire Department Inc.
