Results: Fairlee voters opt to create Conservation Commission

FAIRLEE — Voters approved all articles on the Town Meeting warning in a 43-minute meeting on Tuesday, Town Clerk Georgette Wolf-Ludwig said.

Voters supported an article to create a Conservation Commission.

They also approved a general fund budget of $1.53 million, with $1.17 million to come from taxes; a highway fund budget is $335,000, with $275,000 to come from taxes; and $433,000 to come from taxes for the capital budget.

Also from the floor, voters reelected Selectboard member Miranda Clemson to a three-year term.

Of the town’s 790 voters, 77, or 9.75%, attended Town Meeting.
