VERSHIRE — The Selectboard has postponed Town Meeting until April due to a delay in publishing the town report.
The Vershire informational meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, according to a notice on the town website. Town Meeting will be held on Saturday, April 11 at 10 a.m. with ballot voting open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
A new warning is expected to be published on Thursday, according to the announcement.
The Selectboard approved the change because of a delay in publishing the Town Reports, which by law have to be available to voters 10 days before Town Meeting. The floor meeting and ballot voting had been scheduled for Tuesday.
