Articles of note: As in other districts, voters in the Mascoma district towns of Canaan, Dorchester, Enfield, Grafton and Orange will consider open enrollment. The measure would allow up to 1% of the district’s enrollment, no more than 10 students, to attend Mascoma schools, and 0% to leave for other districts.

Contested races: There are no contested races on the ballot.

Budgets and spending articles: The district’s proposed $32.9 million budget is about 1% higher than the current year’s spending. Voters also will be asked to approve a new three-year contract with the district’s teachers. The first year carries an increase of a little more than $353,000.

When, where and how to vote: Polls will be open Tuesday, March 10 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Canaan Fire Station; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Dorchester Town Hall; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Enfield Community Building; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Grafton Fire and Ambulance Station; and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Orange Town Hall.
