Write-in campaign for Lebanon City Council
I am writing to announce my write-in candidacy for Lebanon City Council, Ward 3.
Lebanon is changing quickly. In the time I have lived here, I have watched home prices nearly double. As a renter, I have felt firsthand how tight our housing market has become. Rents have climbed, starter homes have become scarce, and many of the people who work in our city struggle to find a place they can afford. If we want Lebanon to remain a vibrant community, we have to take housing seriously and pursue practical solutions that expand supply and remove unnecessary barriers.
I currently work in Finance at the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and previously worked for the U.S. House of Representatives. My background is in public service and public finance. I understand how decisions made at higher levels of government impact local taxpayers. Too often, the State shifts costs onto municipalities without providing the funding to match. Those decisions land squarely on local property taxpayers. I believe we can maintain strong public services while practicing disciplined, needs-based budgeting and advocating firmly for local control.
I am also committed to ensuring City Hall is accessible and responsive to residents. Local government works best when people feel heard, respected, and able to participate. Lebanon should remain a kind, livable city that balances responsible financial management with thoughtful long term planning.
Because I am not on the printed ballot, this is an organized write in campaign. If you live in Ward 3, I ask you to go to the Ward 3 section of your ballot, write โMax Terzanoโ on the blank line, and fill in the oval next to it.
This community is my home and I would be honored to serve it.
