Article of note: Voters will be asked if they want to change the position of police chief from an elected position to one that is appointed by the Selectboard. Voters narrowly rejected the proposed change at last year’s Town Meeting.
Contested races: Jeffrey Cogswell and Synthia Ravell are running for police chief. Steve Darrow (incumbent) and Jean Mitchell are running for a three-year term on the Selectboard.
Budgets and spending articles: The proposed operating budget is $1.6 million. Last year, voters approved a $1.5 million operating budget.
When, where and how to vote: Voting on all warrant articles will take place via Australian ballot from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 10 at the Grafton Fire/Ambulance Station, located at 5 Library Road.
