Budgeting and spending articles: The proposed budget is $2.1 million, $679,000 of which would be used for general expenses, and $1.46 million of which would be used for highway purposes. Of the combined budget, $1.5 million would be raised by taxes. Last year, voters approved a budget of $1.93 million.

When, where and how to vote: Voting will be held by Australian ballot between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3 at Pomfret Town Hall at 5218 Pomfret Road.
