Croydon, NH – Shirley Kowalczyk passed away at home in Croydon on Dec. 25, 2025 at the age of 88. She was born May 27, 1937 to the late Leon and Florence Linton. After graduating from Towle High School, she found employment at Wood Lawn Manor where her grandmother Clara resided.
The happiest time of her life was when she had her children, Michael and Kimberly, and the day she married the love of her life, John. They were married 48 years. Their favorite thing to do were family trips to Maine. Shirley was very creative and loved to write poetry and create beautiful needlepoints.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband John, children Michael and Kimberly Fowler, sisters and their spouses Eleanor Reney (Maurice), Joyce Jordan (Bill), brother Buddy Linton, nephew Steve Jordan, and granddaughter Fallon Heath. Her surviving family include sister-in-law Jane Linton, nieces and nephew and spouses Jody Bewersdorf (Mike), Jerry Jordan (Carole), Sharon Pliska, Sandi Linton and Diane Johnson(Dan). Aunt Shirley, we will always love and remember you. There are no services.
