HARTLAND — Hammond Cove Shooting Range will close for the winter Dec. 14 and will reopen in April.
The shooting range at the end of Ferry Road in Hartland is a public outdoor range operated by the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department. The range has six rifle positions, three pistol positions and two shotgun positions.
The range is scheduled to reopen April 1.
