SOUTH CORINTH โ Isaac Willis tosses a stick of firewood for his German Shepherd Lady to chase while transferring a load of wood to his house on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
“I’d rather have a sweater on than make it 80 degrees in there,” said Willis, who uses about three cords of wood supplemented with some electric heat to keep a portion of his home warm during the winter. “But, I’m known to make it so hot I’ve got to open the windows,” he said.
