Mocksville, NC – Ted Thompson 74 of Mocksville NC passed away Thursday, October 23 , 2025 in Winston Salem North Carolina. Born and raised in Hanover NH Ted was the son of Edwin and Janet Thompson. His love for nature and all that it offers guided his lifestyle. Ted was a proud master sculptor of fine wooden vessels which now grace hundreds of homes throughout
New England, including Hanover, as well as North Carolina where he eventually chose to live. He was a voracious reader of books and seeker of knowledge which he would happily share, "for hours" with those whose attention he could capture.
Ted was predeceased by his parents and leaves behind his daughter, Leah May Thompson, sisters Ruth Porter, Rebecca Thompson brother Tim Thompson, loving partner and caregiver Pam Ingram, his Uncle Amos Hoyt along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Final arrangements will be made by the family.
