HANOVER โ€” An annual race to benefit children undergoing treatment at Dartmouth Health Children’s will take place in downtown Hanover this Sunday.

The CHaD Hero is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Dartmouth College Green, 1 E. Wheelock St.

The race includes a one-mile fun run, a 5K walk and run, and a half-marathon, for which the route includes parts of Norwich.

In Hanover, parts of Wheelock, Lebanon, Main, North and South Park, College and Maynard streets, along with Rope Ferry and Occom Ridge roads and others surrounding the Dartmouth Green, will be closed at various times during the morning.

Proceeds from the race benefit programs at Dartmouth Health Childrenโ€™s and the Childrenโ€™s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD). For more information about the race, including road closures, visit chadhero.org.
