Our New Hampshire senators are reported to be considering voting for a continuing resolution. Tell them not to cede Congress’ control over the power of the purse. This federal government shutdown is about whether Congress will retain its authority under Article I of the Constitution to lay taxes and appropriate funds through legislation. Let them know it’s their job to tell Trump he can’t “cancel” spending funds lawfully appropriated by Congress. Call them!
