Andrew J. Guerin
Plainfield, NH – Andrew “Andy” Guerin, 85, passed away peacefully on
September, 11, 2025, after a brief stay at the Jack Byrne Center in
Lebanon, New Hampshire.
Andy was born on July 21, 1940 in Chateaugay, New York, the son of
Arthur and Mary Guerin. He was a long-time resident of the Upper
Valley, living there for the majority of his life. He worked for
forty-two years at S.B.B./Timkin in Lebanon, New Hampshire, prior to
his retirement in 2006.
Andy loved working outside, chopping wood, tinkering in his garage,
fixing anything that didn’t work. He prided himself on teaching his
sons “The Right Way” of doing things (“HIS” way). He was also an avid
baseball fan, his favorite team being the Boston Red Sox.
Andy was predeceased by his six brothers and three sisters. He is
survived by his wife Joy Guerin of East Plainfield, New Hampshire; his
sons Kevin Guerin of Plainfield, New Hampshire; Troy Guerin of
Grantham, New Hampshire. Four grandchildren ย Dylan Guerin of Nashua,
New Hampshire, Vincent Guerin, Brody Guerin, Shaylen Guerin, Alex
Vinson and great-granddaughter Presley Joy, all of North Carolina.
Andy also leaves behind a sister Bernice Parker of Lebanon, New
Hampshire; a brother Gerald Guerin of Florida; and many nieces and
nephews. All of whom will miss him dearly.
No calling hours. There will be a celebration of Andy’s life in the
Spring.
