Nancy A. LaCasse
Lempster, NH – Nancy A. LaCasse, 89, passed away peacefully at her
home in the early morning hours Saturday, September 6, 2025.
Born in Canaan, NH on December 16, 1935, to Edna (Coutermarsh) and
Sidney Monroe, Nancy grew up in Canaan and attended school there. She
began working at Crotched Mountain Hospital after school as a Nursing
Assistant. She also worked at Mass General before retiring from Mary
Hitchcock Memorial Hospital.
Nancy married Roy LaCasse in 1958 and traveled with her husband,
raising their family of four children, while he was in the US Marine
Corps.
Nancy tended to her gardens and home with loving care. Even in the
winter, she enjoyed painting and working on projects to beautify their
home.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her
husband, Roy, in 2018; son, Robin LaCasse; grandson, Travis LaCasse:
brother, Robert Monroe; sisters, Phyllis Barrows, Eva DeCato, and
Gloria George; and her twin sister, Natalie Webster.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Tammy LaCasse; sons, Hans LaCasse
and Andy LaCasse; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jason, and Logan; four
great-grandchildren; and many other cousins, nieces and nephews, and
friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Ricker Funeral Home, 433
US Route 4, Enfield, NH 03748, at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September
20, 2025, for a brief memorial service. A graveside service will
follow at Canaan Street Cemetery in Canaan, NH.
