David Joseph Labrecque

Canaan, NH – David Joseph Labrecque, 65, died unexpectedly on
Thursday, August 21, 2025, in White River Junction, VT.

David was born February 6, 1960, in Holyoke, MA, a son of Richard and
Diane (Askins) Tucker. He attended Putnam Vocational High School in
Springfield, MA. Following high school, he worked with CSX Railroad in
Springfield. Later in his career, David shifted to automotive
mechanics and became a master autobody technician, working both in
area shops and independently.

David loved being a Papa and spending time with his grandkids whenever
he could. He was a jack of all trades, but really excelled doing
roofs, drywall and painting. His passion was riding his Harley
Davidson motorcycle. He had a big heart and loved to spend time with
his friends while tipping back a few cold ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son,
Joshua Labrecque, and his three sons, Silas, Mason, and Jaxon, of
Lebanon, NH; his daughter, Amber Labrecque, of Homer, MI, and her
children, Jasmyn, Torri, and Logan; two sisters, Robin Castonguay of
Agawam, MA, and Danielle Placanio and her husband Paul of Feeding
Hills, MA; and three brothers, Rick Ivan and his wife Veronica of Fort
Smith, AR, Michael Labrecque of Agawam, MA, and Rene Labrecque of
Springfield Massachusetts

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 3–5
p.m. at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction. Condolences
